What counts as an active member?
A member business whose membership is active today. Prospects, past members, non-member contacts and the several representatives a business may have don't count. You can keep as many of those as you like.
What happens if we grow past our plan?
Nothing stops working. Chamberly shows the growth in your settings and we move you to the next plan together, from your next billing period.
Does Chamberly take a percentage of payments?
No. Members pay the price you set, Stripe keeps its standard processing fee, and the rest reaches your chamber's own account. Chamberly's share is zero on every plan, including dues, tickets and sponsorships.
What does Stripe charge?
Stripe's standard US rates are 2.9% + 30¢ for a card payment and 0.8% capped at $5 for a bank payment. Stripe sets and keeps that fee. Chamberly shows it on every payment, first as an estimate and then as the confirmed figure.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Migrating your data from GrowthZone (ChamberMaster), MemberClicks or a spreadsheet, and designing and building your new website, are included on every plan.
Can we pay yearly?
Yes. Paying for a year up front costs ten months, so two months are free.
Do we need Stripe at all?
No. Chambers that collect by invoice, cheque, cash or transfer can run entirely without it and pay only the monthly plan.
