Is ChamberMaster the Same as GrowthZone? The Short Answer Is Yes
ChamberMaster and GrowthZone are not two competing chamber software platforms. They are one company. Here is what that means if you are shopping for chamber software in 2026, and what to ask.

If you have spent any time researching chamber of commerce software, you have probably hit the same wall: some articles compare “ChamberMaster vs GrowthZone” as if they were rivals, and others treat them as the same product. The confusion is understandable, and it can cost a chamber real time during a software search.
Here is the clean version.
The short answer
ChamberMaster and GrowthZone are the same company.
ChamberMaster is the long-running chamber management product of the company now called GrowthZone. When you see “ChamberMaster” on a login screen and “GrowthZone” on an invoice, you are looking at one vendor under two names.
You can check this yourself: visit growthzone.com and chambermaster.com and you will find they lead to the same company.
So if you are weighing “ChamberMaster vs GrowthZone” as a competitive comparison, that comparison is not real. You would be comparing a vendor with itself.
Why both names are still around
Software companies rename themselves and their products over time, but the old names rarely disappear. Chambers that have run on a system for years keep calling it what they have always called it, staff training materials keep the old name, and search results keep both. The result is one vendor that people know by two names.
It is easy to see how the confusion happens inside a chamber, too. Your staff may call the system ChamberMaster while the invoice your treasurer pays says GrowthZone. A new executive director can reasonably wonder whether the chamber is paying for two systems.
If you are unsure exactly which product and version your chamber is on, ask GrowthZone directly. They can tell you what your account includes.
Why this matters when you are shopping
Three practical implications.
First, your shortlist is shorter than it looks. If your list reads ChamberMaster, GrowthZone and two others, it is really one incumbent plus two others. Other names chambers often consider include MemberClicks, Wild Apricot and Glue Up. That changes how you weight the decision.
Second, moving between the two names is a conversation with one vendor. If you are wondering whether to move from ChamberMaster to a newer GrowthZone product, that is a question for your current vendor: ask what changes, what it costs, what gets migrated and whether your contract terms change.
Third, some comparison content is misleading. A table that puts ChamberMaster and GrowthZone in separate columns, with different setup times or feature checkmarks for each, is either out of date or careless. Be equally careful with any page, including a competitor’s, that states another vendor’s prices or features as fact. Those change, and they vary by contract. Ask the vendor and get it in writing.
Questions worth asking any vendor
Whichever systems are on your list, these questions tend to separate them quickly:
- Can I see what each online payment costs me, broken down on the payment itself?
- Does the system work fully if most of our dues arrive by cheque?
- Is our data kept in its own database?
- Who builds and maintains our website, and is it part of the subscription?
- How is churn calculated on the board report, and what does it leave out?
- What exactly do you migrate, and who does the work?
- What is our total annual cost: subscription, add-ons, website, payment fees and any increase at renewal?
Where Chamberly fits
We built Chamberly in 2026 as chamber of commerce software for US chambers. A few facts about how it works, so you can put it next to the answers you get elsewhere:
- Flat, published pricing. One monthly price by chamber size: $199 up to 150 active members, $329 up to 400, $479 up to 1,000, and from $699 above that. No setup fee and no cut of your payments. Every plan includes the whole product, the website and migration. See pricing.
- A new chamber website included on every plan, designed and built by us and connected to your member data. Or your agency builds on our API.
- Migration included. We import your members, plans and directory from a GrowthZone (ChamberMaster) export or a spreadsheet, with you. It is a service, not an automated tool.
- No per-seat fees. Invite every staff member who needs access.
- Your own database. Each chamber runs on its own instance.
Chamberly is new, and there are things it does not do yet, including certificates of origin, a built-in general ledger and SMS. If one of those matters to you, that is worth knowing up front.
Whether you choose Chamberly or stay on GrowthZone (ChamberMaster) is your call. We just think you should make it with a clear picture of who makes the software you are evaluating.
